Privacy policy

1. Data controller

ER CONSEIL, a French single-member limited liability company trading as slash.events, is the controller of personal data processed to handle enquiries received through this website or by email.
Registered office: 5 rue Fénelon, 33000 Bordeaux, France.
For questions about your data, contact edouard.deribou@slash.events.

2. Data and purposes

We use your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it, message and subsequent correspondence to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal for an assignment.
The contact form requires your name, email address and message to submit an enquiry. Your telephone number is optional. Please do not send sensitive personal data or information about other people that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

3. Legal bases

Handling professional enquiries is based on ER CONSEIL’s legitimate interest in responding to requests related to its business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where your request concerns a contract to which you will personally be a party, the steps required to prepare that contract are based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)). Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

4. Retention

Data relating to a contact enquiry is retained for 12 months after the last exchange. If an assignment proceeds, records needed to perform it, meet legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims are retained separately for the applicable periods. For example, accounting records are retained for 10 years from the end of the financial year.

5. Recipients and hosting

Enquiries are accessed by Édouard de Ribou on behalf of ER CONSEIL. Technical providers required to receive and handle them, including Webflow for hosting and forms and the email service provider, may also process the data as part of their services. The data is not sold.
Webflow is based in the United States; data may be hosted or processed outside the European Economic Area. Its Data Processing Addendum sets out the mechanisms applicable to international transfers, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where its conditions are met and Standard Contractual Clauses in the cases specified in that agreement. You can contact us for further information about these safeguards.

6. Browsing and external services

Hosting the website may involve processing technical data, including IP addresses, browser information and connection dates, to operate and secure the website. Webflow describes its own processing in its Privacy Policy.
Links to external services, including LinkedIn, take you to websites governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or restriction of its processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Data portability applies to data you have provided where processing is automated and based on a contract or your consent.
To exercise your rights, email edouard.deribou@slash.events. We will normally respond within one month; if an extension is necessary under the GDPR, we will inform you. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or another competent supervisory authority.
